Terms of Service

Last updated: August 1, 2026
This is a starting-point Terms of Service written for Nahava. It is not legal advice. Because Nahava hosts user content and facilitates real-world meetups, please have an attorney review and finalize this before launch.

Welcome to Nahava. By creating an account or using the Nahava app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Nahava

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. Nahava is for parents, caregivers, and other adults; it is not intended for use by children.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

3. Community standards

Nahava is a kind, private space for caregivers. You agree not to:

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.

4. Your content

You own the content you create — your photos, messages, reviews, and posts. By sharing content in Nahava, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and deliver that content to the people you share it with, solely to operate the Service. You're responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it (including photos that show other people). Only share photos of children with the consent of their parent or guardian.

5. Reporting and moderation

You can block users and report content or people that violate these Terms. We review reports and act on genuinely objectionable content and abusive users, typically within 24 hours, which may include removing content and removing the user. We may use automated tools to help detect prohibited content.

6. Events information

Event listings in Nahava are gathered from public sources and community submissions. We work to keep them accurate but can't guarantee times, locations, availability, or that any event will occur. Confirm details with the venue or organizer before you go.

7. Real-world meetups and your safety

Nahava helps you find events and connect with people, but we don't screen users or events, and we're not responsible for the conduct of any user or for anything that happens at an in-person meetup. Use your own judgment, and take normal precautions when meeting new people or attending events.

8. Termination

You may stop using Nahava and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that event information will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nahava and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or harm arising from your use of the Service, in-person meetups, or the conduct of other users.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Nahava harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Nahava after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
